May 27, 2022 marked 80 years since the military attack by Czechoslovak paratroopers Josef Gabčík and Jan Kubiš on the representative Reich Protector of Bohemia and Moravia – Reinhard Heydrich. Although the assassination, as the Nazis called it, was successful, it was followed by the incredible repression of the Czechoslovak nation. The heroic act of the paratroopers is remembered in the documentary by director Oliver Malina, which charts not only the successful operation of the Czechoslovak resistance, but also the fates of well-known and lesser-known Czech resistance fighters who helped the paratroopers.
