The war in Ukraine is not the first one to break out in Europe after the World War II. Following the break-up of Yugoslavia, fighting took in Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo and Serbia. Of all those wars, the bloodiest was the Bosnian war, a part of which was the siege of Sarajevo. This is a story of the spirit of Sarajevo where tolerance, creativity, and humour have been used to fight hatred – and to help the city pull through. According to the film’s protagonists „there are no good and bad nations, only good and bad people”.<div><br /></div><div>One of the film’s protagonists, Boyan Hadjihalilovich says: „I have Jewish, Serbian and Muslim blood. I have a Croatian passport. I feel Bosnian. And the Constitution does not recognize Bosnians as ones who belong. We fall under the heading of ‚remaining’. And I am one of those who remained”. The film pays tribute to those „others” who remained. They live in Bosnia and Herzegovina, where every second youth is unemployed. But they believe that the future is theirs.</div>
