1200 women and children have escaped from Ukraine, leaving behind the atrocities of war and death, and found shelter in Sielpia, Poland. Despite the efforts to provide them with the best living conditions, wartime trauma still dominates their daily lives. Marta Manowska travels to the refugee centre in Sielpia to meet these women and their children in the hopes that they will share their stories of survival and the details of their journey into Poland. Their voices must be heard loud and clear so that the world never forgets.
