The fifth edition of the Heart of Europe International TV Festival & Forum will take place from 30 September to 3 October 2025 in Warsaw.

Organised by Polish Television, the event brings together public broadcasters from across Central and Eastern Europe to highlight the region’s vibrant audiovisual creativity.

The Festival features a wide range of content, including feature films, series, documentaries, entertainment formats, children’s and youth programming, and digital projects produced by public broadcasters in Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Croatia, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, Ukraine, and Georgia.

Building on the success of previous editions, the Festival & Forum continues to serve as a key meeting place for broadcasters, creators, producers, and industry professionals. It provides a dynamic platform for discovering the latest television productions from the CEE region, promoting original content internationally, and encouraging new co-production and distribution partnerships.

The Festival’s main competition will recognise outstanding public television productions across six categories:

• Feature Film and Series • Documentary Film • Short Documentary • Entertainment • Children & Youth • Digital Projects

Entries will be evaluated by an international jury of representatives from public broadcasters.

In addition to the competition, the Heart of Europe Forum invites creators to submit new projects in three key areas: Fiction Film, Fiction Series, and Documentary. The Forum offers a collaborative space for pitching ideas, building co-productions, and fostering creative exchange across the region.
