The Heart of Europe Forum returns for its fifth edition from 30 September – 3 October 2025 in Warsaw, as part of the Heart of Europe International TV Festival organised by Polish Television.

Organised by Polish Television , the Forum is an integral part of the Heart of Europe International TV Festival and serves as a key event for film, series, and documentary creators from across Central and Eastern Europe . It brings together industry professionals for inspiring discussions, pitching opportunities , and strategic networking .

This year’s Forum will once again spotlight projects in three categories:

• Feature Film • Feature Series • Documentary

We invite creators and producers from Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Ukraine, Georgia, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Romania, Belarus, Moldova , and Bulgaria to submit their projects for consideration. Submissions are open until the end of June 2025 , with up to 10 projects per category to be selected for pitching during the Festival.

Beyond the project presentations, the Forum acts as a vital networking platform, welcoming:

• Sales and acquisition professionals • Representatives of film institutes and regional film funds • Public broadcasters from the CEE region • Polish producers and TVP programming and production executives

This setting provides a unique opportunity to find co-production partners and build industry connections .

The Forum will also feature expert panels and curated discussions addressing the most relevant and urgent topics in today’s audiovisual landscape, with contributions from leading professionals across the field.
